The Everett Merchants have announced their annual exhibition game with the Everett Aqua Sox, the Seattle Mariners single A affiliate of the West Coast League.    

The game is scheduled for Father’s Day, June 18^th at 2:00 pm, Everett Memorial Stadium.  This will be the third year the two clubs have met.  The game gives the Merchant players an opportunity to play against some of the top professional prospects in the country while giving the Mariners a pre-season look at the talent they have drafted.   “This type of exposure, along with the National Baseball Congress World Series, is the kind of experience we offer our summer players” said Merchant GM, Harold Pyatte.  “We try to provide opportunities that give professional scouts a good look at our league against the highest quality competition”. 

Tickets will be available beginning April 15^th and are $9.00 each.  Groups of 15 or more will be announced during the game over the public address system.  These groups will receive a disposable camera to record the occasion and free developing at Kits camera in Everett.  Tickets may be purchased on the web at the Aqua Sox site (contact Jason) and through  normal Sox outlets.
