The Pacific International League continues to closely monitor the developments related to COVID-19 as the situation changes almost daily. On Monday night, league officials unanimously decided to delay the start of the season until the week of June 23 in accordance the state of Washington reaching Phase 3 of its “re-opening” and to extend the 2020 regular season into the second weekend of August.

The PIL will continue to monitor the specific situation in Washington State and will adjust various contingency plans accordingly taking into consideration any local and state-wide updates moving forward.

In the meantime, we want to thank our fans, players, and all of the personnel who make our league function. We look forward to safely coming together as soon as possible.
