Former PIL Coach Named Centralia College Head Coach

June 23, 2021 – Centralia, WA: The Centralia College Trailblazers today announced that they have Ben Harley to Head Coach for the 2022 season after serving as the team’s interim Head Coach in 2021. Centralia posted a 12-14 record, a .462 winning percentage. Coach Harley was the Highline Bears pitching coach in 2019 and was promoted to Head Coach for the 2020 season. 

Prior to joining the coaching staff at Centralia College, he has previously been the head coach at Valley Catholic High School (Beaverton, Oregon). He has also previously coached at Peoria High School as well as Rex Putnam High School.

Coach Harley played at Olympic College and Cabrillo College.

Following his time there he transferred to Oregon State University where he graduated with his bachelor’s degree in English and then completed his master’s in teaching at Lewis and Clark College.

He is a ABCA Certified Coach. In addition to his role at Centralia College, he also works at Driveline Baseball with their Youth Academy.
