- Updated: June 30, 2021

The Everett Merchants are excited to announce the date and time for their 2021 FREE baseball camp
Boys and girls ages 7 to 12 years old are invited to participate in our annual Everett Merchant FREE baseball clinic at Funko Field on July 10 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The three-hour camp is dedicated to the development of young aspiring baseball players and is open to all participants regardless of experience or ability. The camp will include discussions, demonstrations, and drills on different phases of the game, including proper offensive techniques for hitting, bunting and base running, and defensive techniques.
Each participant will have the opportunity to learn and practice the fundamentals from the Merchants.  Campers will need a glove and those who have baseball bats and shoes are encouraged to bring them.

Founded in the fall of 1992, the PIL is considered by many to be the premier Summer Collegiate Baseball league in the Northwest. Most PIL players are NCAA eligible and are unpaid in order to maintain their eligibility. The PIL is different from many other summer collegiate baseball leagues in that the league also allows former professionals and college graduates to participate.
