PIL Post Season Changes

For the first time in PIL, the league will send representatives to two different post-season tournaments.
The league’s first place winner will travel to Wichita, Kansas to participate in the 87th National Baseball Congress World Series. A PIL team has won the championship 5 times.
The second-place team will travel to California to participate in the inaugural 2021 West Coast World which will bring together 16 top teams from the West Coast to determine who is the Best of the West. Games will be played McBean Stadium in Lincoln, CA and Colusa Casino Stadium in Marysville, CA

Founded in the fall of 1992, the PIL is considered by many to be the premier Summer Collegiate Baseball league in the Northwest. Most PIL players are NCAA eligible and are unpaid in order to maintain their eligibility. The PIL is different from many other summer collegiate baseball leagues in that the league also allows former professionals and college graduates to participate.
