PIL OPENS 2021 CAMPAIGN

SEATTLE, WA – The 2021 Pacific International League season is officially underway. 

“Last year, we were all in the middle of the pandemic, concerned the health of our families and friends,” said PIL President Mike MacCulloch “and its great to be back on the field for 2021.  All of our teams in conjunction with our ballpark are following all state provided COVID-19 protocols to ensure the safety for all.”

The Highline Bears kick off their season with a  three game set against the Port Angeles Lefties of the West Coast League on June 1st

The Seattle-Cheney Studs will begin a two game set against the Alaska GoldPanners in Tacoma on June 2nd.

Please note that some teams will have limited seating capabilities during games. Mel Olson Stadium (the home of the Highline Bears) will not be allowing fans this season. Other teams such as the Everett Merchants, Northwest Honkers and Redmond Dudes are expected to limit capacity to 25%.

The PIL will conclude its season with participating in both the NBC World Series and the West Coast World Series.
